Account Manager

Our client develops AI- and data-driven solutions that help ocean and offshore industries operate more efficiently and sustainably.

They are now hiring an Account Manager to take full ownership of client relationships post-sale. This is a strategic, revenue-focused role — managing adoption, renewals, and long-term account growth across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

You will act as the commercial owner of your accounts, ensuring value delivery while identifying and driving expansion opportunities over time.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship post-onboarding (main client point of contact)
  • Build and execute multi-year account development plans
  • Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities
  • Manage renewals proactively, anticipating risks and securing long-term retention
  • Lead client reviews and maintain alignment across technical, operational, and business stakeholders
  • Coordinate internally with product, delivery, and technical teams
  • Maintain clear account mapping, documentation, and pipeline visibility

Profile

We are looking for a commercially minded Account Manager with a strong ability to manage complex clients over long cycles and grow accounts strategically.

Experience in maritime, offshore, energy, or regulated environments is highly valued.

Key Requirements

  • 5–8 years in Account Management, Customer Success, or similar roles
  • Proven track record in renewals, account growth, and long-term client ownership
  • Strong stakeholder management across technical and operational environments
  • Comfortable handling pricing, negotiations, and commercial discussions
  • Structured, organized, and able to manage long sales and delivery cycles
  • Ability to identify growth opportunities and link them to client value

​​​​​​​Additional Information

  • Location: Remote, within 2 hours of the French HQ (France, UK, Norway, Netherlands, Denmark). Travel to France one week per month.
  • Languages: Native or near-native English required; French is a strong plus.
  • Compensation: €60,000–€80,000 (currency adjusted to country of residence, e.g., GBP in the UK).
