JOB DESCRIPTION: Commercial RHD Germany / Key Account Manager Germany – M/F (Permanent / CDI)

To support their growing commercial team in Germany (Terravenir Division), they are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial RHD Germany / Key Account Manager Germany (M/F) for a permanent contract (CDI).

Missions & Responsibilities

Working within our client’s lean and agile commercial team of 3 salespeople, the successful candidate will autonomously manage a well-established B2B client portfolio with an existing turnover of approximately €10M. The position reports directly to the Sales Manager based in Germany.

Daily responsibilities will include:

  • Account Management & Development: Maintaining, monitoring, and structurally cultivating business relations within the assigned B2B client portfolio across the Germany and Austria zone.

  • B2B Prospecting: Identifying and acquiring new customers within the Out-of-Home Catering (RHD) / Foodservice sector—including wholesalers, cash & carry markets, fresh/frozen food sectors—as well as food manufacturing industries. Note: This role focuses strictly on B2B/RHD channels and does not involve selling directly to supermarkets (GMS/LEH).

  • International Plant Coordination: Acting as the strategic link to plan and coordinate product requests and commercial activities across the group’s international factories located in France, Poland, and Hungary.

  • Forecasting & Reporting: Generating precise monthly sales forecasts, tracking key commercial metrics, and delivering regular performance reports to management.

  • Brand Representation: Actively representing the group’s brands and portfolio at major trade fairs and industry events.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a similar Key Account Management or B2B Sales position within the agri-food sector. Experience handling meat/poultry products or high-volume food industries is highly preferred.

  • Education: Commercial training or a university degree in Business, Management, or a related field (equivalent to French Bac+3 to Bac+5 level).

  • Languages (Trilingual Profile Required):

    • German: Native or near-native fluency.

    • French: Minimum B2+ level, essential for daily operational and HR coordination with factories and corporate teams in France.

    • English: Good working proficiency.

  • Hard & Soft Skills: Highly autonomous with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a result-driven mindset. Excellent negotiation skills, diplomacy, active listening capabilities, and structural organization, alongside proficiency in office/technical software.

What will be offered

  • Location Flexibility: This is a hybrid position with a high degree of home office flexibility. Candidates should ideally be based in South Germany or Austria, with a high willingness to travel frequently to visit clients and connect with the cross-border hub near Kehl/Strasbourg.

  • Remuneration: A competitive base salary of €61,000 gross per annum, plus a €5,000 annual target bonus.
