Sales Engineer (Enterprise Software) – Netherlands (Remote)

We are partnering with a global leader in mobile and IoT enterprise software solutions to hire a Sales Engineer to support continued growth across the Dutch market.

This is a customer-facing, pre-sales role ideal for someone who enjoys blending technical expertise with commercial impact—working closely with sales teams to win and expand enterprise clients.

Location: Netherlands (Remote)
Languages: Fluent Dutch & English
Compensation: Competitive base + bonus 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partnering with the sales team to drive revenue through consultative, solution-led selling
  • Delivering technical product demonstrations that clearly articulate business and technical value
  • Providing pre-sales technical support via email, phone, and customer engagements
  • Supporting proof of concepts (POCs), including installation and configuration of enterprise solutions
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers—helping them understand and adopt mobility solutions
  • Presenting solution architecture, including integrations and technical ecosystems
  • Collaborating with internal product and engineering teams to resolve issues and influence product roadmap
  • Supporting internal initiatives and cross-functional projects

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in a technical, customer-facing role (Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales)
  • Strong understanding of enterprise mobility, mobile device management (MDM), and SaaS environments
  • Experience with Android, iOS, Windows, Linux environments and BYOD concepts
  • Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, IP, firewalls)
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (SSO, SAML, IdP, Active Directory, LDAP)
  • Understanding of security principles, certificates, and encryption methods
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as CCNA, MCTS, or AWS Solutions Architect
  • Knowledge of containerisation, APIs, or basic scripting
  • Formal sales training (e.g., SPIN, MEDDPICC, Miller Heiman)
  • Experience with customer support or incident management tools
  • Additional languages
