Job Description

We are looking for a talented and dedicated PHP Developer to join our team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and improvement of our web applications and services. Your role will involve working closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to ensure that our projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and associated frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by profiling and optimizing code.
• Identify and resolve issues and bugs in code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with popular PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Understanding of database management systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
• Experience in working with other programming languages is an asset.
