Senior Project Engineer – Construction Machinery

A global manufacturer of construction machinery is seeking an experienced engineer to serve as the technical link between the European market and headquarters R&D, ensuring that new and existing machines meet the demands of sites.

This is a high-impact role offering significant autonomy and the opportunity to directly influence product strategy and design.

Among the activities : 

• Define product requirements based on customer and application research
• Benchmark competitor machines and emerging technologies
• Guide system design and lead test/validation reviews during development
• Lead European Early Warranty Trials (EWT) for new product launches
• Monitor in-market product performance and drive issue resolution with HQ
• Track regulatory and technology trends, advising HQ on compliance and innovation

Your profile : 

• 5–8 years of R&D or Advanced Application Engineering experience in construction machinery, with a strong focus on excavators or wheel loaders
• ​​​​​​​Background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field
• English full professional
• Analytical mindset, customer-focused, capable of translating complex application requirements into clear engineering specifications, and of communicating their importance effectively to international R&D teams.
