🌍 Business Development Manager – Defence & Aerospace (Remote, Germany / EMEA)

About the Role
We’re partnering with a leading global provider of high-reliability electronic components and advanced microelectronics solutions serving the Defence, Aerospace, and Space industries. With over three decades of proven expertise, they deliver cutting-edge technology supporting some of the most demanding environments and mission-critical applications worldwide.
They are now looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across top-tier Defence Primes and strategic customers throughout EMEA. This is a key, senior commercial role with direct visibility to executive leadership.
The role is fully remote and based in Germany, with travel expectations around 50%.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and win new business with leading Defence and Aerospace clients across EMEA.

Achieve annual sales and design-win targets aligned to company growth goals.

Build and maintain strong technical and commercial relationships across engineering and C-level stakeholders.

Drive capture plans for high-priority “must-win” programs, tracking progress through opportunity management tools.

Provide regular sales updates and business development reports to senior leadership.

Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings, showcasing a deep understanding of microelectronics and power solutions.

Maintain the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
About You

Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

At least 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the Defence, Aerospace, or Space electronics sectors.

Proven ability to win and grow business within complex, multi-stakeholder organizations.

Strong technical and commercial understanding of microelectronics, defense-grade components, or power solutions.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.

Ability to travel within the assigned territory (approx. 30%)
