Technical Service Leader (m/f/d)
In this key position, you will take responsibility for technical service operations across multiple international regions, including Central Europe (DACH, BNL, FR), Southern Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India. The role is based in Viernheim, Germany, where a central technical service hub with a small, closely connected team is located.
This position sits within a global organisation with short communication lines, high autonomy, and close collaboration with international stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical service and training activities across multiple international regions
- Develop and deliver technical training programs for internal teams, dealers, and OEMs
- Support Sales & Marketing with technical product content and documentation
- Provide technical expertise for customer presentations and sales support
- Validate warranty claims and contribute to warranty processes and policies
- Manage and develop a small team of service technicians
- International travel (~25%)
Your profile
- Technical education with at least 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a technical support or service environment
- Proven track record in handling complex technical escalations and critical customer issues
- Experience in designing and delivering technical training programs
- Familiarity with modern learning methods and digital training tools is an advantage
- Background in technical customer support, ideally within engine-powered or industrial products
- Fluent in German and English; additional European languages are a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
- Enjoys working in an international and cross-functional environment
