About the Role
Our client, a globally recognized French luxury multinational, is looking for a strategic and commercially driven Wholesale Manager to oversee and grow the wholesale business across the Iberian market. Based in Barcelona, this role is key to expanding brand presence through high-end retail partners, department stores, and specialty boutiques.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the wholesale strategy for Spain and Portugal in line with global brand objectives.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing wholesale accounts to ensure long-term growth.

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the brand’s positioning.

  • Negotiate commercial terms including pricing, margins, and delivery schedules.

  • Forecast sales, monitor KPIs, and analyze performance (sell-in/sell-out) to optimize assortments and stock rotations.

  • Ensure seasonal product training and visual merchandising guidelines are implemented across wholesale partners.

  • Collaborate with internal departments (retail, marketing, operations, supply chain) for seamless execution and brand consistency.

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategic planning.

  • Be open and available to travel up to 30% of the time across Spain and Portugal.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in wholesale sales, ideally within the luxury or premium fashion/accessories sector.

  • Solid understanding of the Iberian wholesale market and key players.

  • Fluent in English and Spanish; Catalan is a plus.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.

  • Commercially savvy, with strong planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Proficient in CRM and sales reporting tools.

  • Willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30% of the time) across the region.
