Service Engineer – Benelux Region

An exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised construction equipment manufacturer as their first dedicated Service Engineer in the Benelux region. This is a key hire and a genuine ground-floor position, offering the chance to help establish and grow the company’s after-sales and technical support presence across the Netherlands and Belgium.
Working closely with dealers, customers, and international teams, you’ll play a critical role in delivering high-quality field service support for excavators and wheel loaders throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain excavators and wheel loaders at customer and dealer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults
- Carry out scheduled maintenance, inspections, and emergency breakdown support
- Advise customers on machine operation, preventative maintenance, and spare parts
- Support warranty claims and technical reporting in coordination with the manufacturer
- Build strong relationships with dealers and end users across the Benelux market
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with excavators and/or wheel loaders (essential)
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic systems
- Fluent English communication skills (essential) for both internal and external interactions
- Dutch or French language skills are highly advantageous
- Based in the Netherlands or Belgium
- Comfortable with frequent travel across the Benelux region in a field-based role
