Our client is a leading Swedish company in the forest and paper industry, specializing in high-quality packaging and graphic-use cardboard. With a strong international presence, they are seeking a Sales Director to drive commercial operations, expand market presence, and develop key strategic accounts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Define, implement, and oversee the commercial strategy to increase sales and revenue.

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with existing key accounts while identifying new business opportunities.

  • Lead contract negotiations with major clients and partners to ensure business growth.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to adapt business strategies accordingly.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (marketing, production, logistics) to align sales efforts with operational capabilities.

  • Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue projections with high accuracy.

  • Lead and motivate the sales team, setting clear objectives and performance indicators.

  • Ensure a strong presence in international markets by visiting clients and attending key industry events.

  • Implement performance monitoring tools to track sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop innovative go-to-market strategies, enhancing the company’s positioning in the industry.

Profile Sought:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Sales Director or Commercial Director within the paper industry or a related sector.

  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage key strategic accounts on an international scale.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

  • Experience in international contract negotiation and business expansion.

  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to commercial strategy.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term client relationships.

  • High adaptability and responsiveness to market changes.

  • Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel frequently across different international markets.
