Job Description:

 

As a Senior Broker Liability Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our client's brokerage firm, specializing in mitigating liability risks and ensuring regulatory compliance for their clients. You will be responsible for managing complex liability portfolios, providing expert advice, and negotiating favorable terms with insurance carriers. Your duties will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Analyzing client risk exposures and developing customized liability insurance solutions.
  • Conducting thorough risk assessments and recommending appropriate coverage options.
  • Collaborating with underwriters and carriers to negotiate competitive terms and pricing.
  • Providing guidance to junior brokers and assisting in their professional development.
  • Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, regulations, and emerging risks to provide proactive risk management solutions.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in brokerage, with a focus on liability insurance.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex liability portfolios and delivering innovative risk management solutions.
  • Strong understanding of insurance products, regulations, and underwriting principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional certifications such as Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance brokerage software.
