Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SHE (Safety, Health, Environmental) initiatives in the assigned zone to ensure compliance with standards and local regulations.
  • Develop and implement SHE strategies that promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship across all operations.
  • Monitor and evaluate SHE performance metrics, reporting on progress and areas for improvement to senior management.
  • Provide training and support to team members on SHE policies and best practices, fostering a proactive approach to safety and health management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SHE considerations into all business processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure the effectiveness of SHE controls.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure alignment with new safety and environmental legislation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SHE performance and promote a culture of accountability.
  • Prepare and deliver SHE reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to various audiences.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SHE-related inquiries and concerns within the zone.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A strong understanding of safety, health, and environmental management systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive cultural change across diverse teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data interpretation and performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SHE management roles, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
  • Experience in implementing SHE policies and regulations in a corporate setting.
  • Track record of successful project management and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Experience in conducting SHE training and awareness programs for employees.
