Role Overview

We’re looking for a passionate, driven Account Manager to take full ownership of the independent retailers in Sweden. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a globally recognized brand that’s adored by customers of all ages.

Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager EU / Head of Sales EU, you’ll play a crucial role in maximizing sales opportunities, developing strong relationships with existing accounts, and identifying new independant retailers accross sweden. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the territory growth strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Manager EU / Head of Sales EU.
  • Forecast seasonal product and revenue for your territory.
  • Present new product ranges to existing accounts.
  • Ensure regular visits and communication with all retailers and buyers.
  • Work alongside the customer service team to manage enquiries, orders, and deliveries.
  • Identify and develop business opportunities to grow your region strategically.
  • Attend in-country trade shows and support seasonal launch conferences.
  • Maintain commercial awareness, ensuring brand-appropriate decisions that align with luxury and premium positioning.
  • Provide weekly updates on meetings, opportunities, and territory growth.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Account Manager or Regional Sales Manager, preferably within the retail or toy industry.
  • Proven success in managing and growing a portfolio of accounts. Ideally within independant retailers
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing territories strategically.
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, personable approach.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships while understanding business limitations.
  • A strong understanding of the ‘Jellycat’ brand and its communication style.
  • Confidence in making commercial decisions and the ability to take direction from senior team members.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to travel within Sweden and to London for meetings and tradeshows as required.

Location:
This role will be based in Sweden, ideally in Stockholm, with an initial training period at the company’s headquarters in London. But you can be based anyhere if you are happy to travel.
