The ICT System Engineer will join the Infrastructure and Workplace Services team and will play a key role in managing end-user environments, hybrid platforms, and critical IT systems operations.

The role combines:

Role Purpose

The ICT System Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workplace and Infrastructure platforms.

The role involves working within modern hybrid IT environments including:

• Microsoft Azure,
• Azure Virtual Desktop,
• VMware,
• Windows & Linux,
• Intune / Autopilot,
• Device and application management.

The position also plays a key role in:

• Infrastructure evolution projects,
• Migrations,
• Advanced support activities,
• Coordination with external partners and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace & End User Services

• Manage the lifecycle of end-user devices including:
  • notebooks,
  • iOS devices,
  • macOS,
  • Windows clients.
• Administer and maintain:
  • Intune,
  • Autopilot,
  • MDM solutions,
  • Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD),
  • Nerdio.
• Manage application packaging and deployment within the global software distribution environment.

Infrastructure & Systems

• Administer and maintain server and storage platforms.
• Manage environments including:
  • Windows Server,
  • Linux (SUSE SLES).
• Handle patch management, releases, and OS/application updates.
• Administer VMware virtualized environments.
• Manage printing systems and print management solutions.

Support & Operations

• Provide 2nd level support and coordinate with 3rd level support teams.
• Analyze and resolve complex incidents.
• Participate in IT on-call rotations.
• Communicate operational incidents and disruptions to users.

Projects & Transformation

• Participate in infrastructure evolution and transformation projects.
• Plan and execute migrations.
• Coordinate external service providers and consultants.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of IT services.

Documentation & Governance

• Create and maintain:
  • technical documentation,
  • procedures,
  • checklists,
  • resource planning documents.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance standards.
• Contribute to ISO 27001 requirements and processes.

Candidate Profile

Experience

• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a System Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer.
• Experience within international and enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with hybrid IT architectures.
