📍 Location: Hamm, Germany (with extensive travel across Germany)

📋 Reporting to: Aftersales Manager Germany

💰 Salary starting from €60,000 gross per year (depending on qualifications and experience)

🎯 Attractive annual bonus equivalent to one month’s base salary

🚚 Fully equipped service vehicle including high-quality tools and diagnostic equipment

About the Role

Our client, a globally recognized manufacturer of construction equipment, is looking for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to strengthen its Aftersales team in Germany.

In this hands-on role, you will act as the technical link between the company, its dealer network, and end customers. You will be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, commissioning, and technical support, helping to maximize machine uptime and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of construction machinery at customer sites
  • Provide technical support and guidance to dealers and end customers during complex service interventions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults
  • Support the dealer network through technical training, best-practice sharing, and service standards implementation
  • Complete service reports and manage warranty and claim documentation
  • Assist with the delivery, commissioning, and technical support of new equipment, including battery-electric vehicles (BEV)
  • Ensure proper use, maintenance, and care of service vehicles, tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards while continuously contributing to service improvements

Your Profile

  • Completed technical qualification in construction equipment, agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, automotive technology, industrial mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in field service or technical support roles
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, electronics, and diesel engines
  • Experience with construction equipment, agricultural machinery, or similar heavy equipment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of electric drivetrains or battery-electric vehicles (BEV) is an advantage
  • Independent, customer-focused, and solution-oriented approach
  • Fluent German language skills
  • Basic English skills for technical communication and training purposes
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Germany, including occasional overnight stays
  • Valid EU driving licence
