Position: Technical Customer Service Manager – Spain

Company Overview:
International technology company specialized in manufacturing plastic thermoforming machines and packaging equipment. With a long-standing family history and global presence, the company employs several hundred people and conducts a major part of its sales internationally. The Spanish branch is responsible for selling machines and spare parts, as well as providing after-sales service and customer training.

Position and Mobility:

  • Reports to the regional general manager
  • Frequent travel to clients in Spain and occasionally other countries in the region
  • Possible international travel to the headquarters for machine deliveries with clients

Role Mission:
Act as the primary technical contact for assigned clients, handling all service-related matters with full autonomy and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Commissioning
    • Ensure proper reception of new installations with the sales team and clients
    • Perform assembly and commissioning in collaboration with international technical teams
  2. After-Sales Service and Training
    • Conduct maintenance and technical support interventions
    • Provide training to clients on machine operation and performance optimization
    • Update after-sales technical documentation
  3. Technical and Sales Support
    • Support sales of spare parts, upgrades, maintenance contracts, and services
    • Manage hotline and prepare quotations for spare parts and services
    • Define spare parts lists with detailed documentation, including photos if needed
  4. Reporting and Follow-Up
    • Prepare client intervention reports and internal company reports
    • Coordinate and follow up on corrective or commercial actions
  5. Additional Responsibilities
    • Temporary substitution for other department heads if needed
    • Support the customer service team as required

Skills and Competencies Required:

  • Analytical skills, quick decision-making, and geographic mobility
  • Experience working in industrial, sometimes noisy or challenging environments

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of industrial maintenance, electromechanics, and automation
  • Ability to read electrical and pneumatic diagrams
  • Manual dexterity, precision, and speed

  • Teamwork, observation, and responsiveness
  • Methodical, rigorous, and customer-oriented
  • Stress resistance and strong report-writing skills

Education and Experience:

  • Degree in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, automation, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
