Job Description
UK Regional Manager
Taking full ownership of the UK market, you will be responsible for leading our client’s growth and expansion into the UK and other affiliated markets.
The role will report to the global Chief Revenue Officer.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contribute to and execute the go-to-market strategy in collaboration with the European headquarters in Paris
- Develop the business and create additional revenue streams
- Be accountable for the P&L in the covered markets
- Set priorities and objectives, and then track performance against KPIs
- Add value and deliver results beyond expectations
- Contribute to opening new markets and countries
What you’ll do:
Operations, Finance and HR
- Contribute to set up the UK-based entity from a legal / fiscal / accounting perspective
- Directly recruit, manage and lead a multi-discipline team of circa 4
- Oversee HR management in coordination with the headquarters
- Manage all finance, expenditures and payments related to the UK operations
- Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting
- Prepare and manage an annual operating budget
- Identify, track and optimize relevant KPI’s
Sales and Marketing
- Set the strategic direction and deliver cost-effective customer acquisition and growth
- Oversee agencies and internal digital marketing teams
- Execute online advertising campaigns
- Develop and implement social media strategies
- Identify new channels
- Build and optimize partner marketing programs
- Partner with internal Marketing teams to expand reach through partners
- Represent company at industry events
Business Development
- Deliver UK centric market intelligence and competitor analysis
- Build new and expand existing partnerships
- Originate new and respond to inbound opportunities
- Shepherd deals from opening through to contract and closing stages
Product
- Cooperate and coordinate with headquarters product team to improve the customer experience
- Maintain high-level accuracy of product roadmap and priorities
- Foster innovative thinking and ideas
What you’ll bring:
- At least 8 years of business development experience in telecom / digital / media / luxury industries in the UK
- Strong experience in distributing digital products
- In-depth music industry knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MBA desirable
