Strategic Account Manager (ID 24855)

Responsibilities

As a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) for our client, you will be at the forefront of selling cutting-edge solutions and services within a defined set of regional Key Accounts. Your responsibilities include:

  • Drive customer relationships and expand the business regionally in defined Key Accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities, managing the entire sales process.
  • Utilize their internal sales model, planning tools for maximizing revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with local SAMs in other EMEA countries for market knowledge and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct ELT meetings with customers and support quarterly status meetings.
  • Renew existing OneSource business with the support of the Professional Services business team.
  • Create and execute Annual Account Plans focused on business development and contract enhancement.
  • Drive feedback to impact the solution roadmap.
  • Enter all service opportunities into the CRM, manage forecasts, and report to senior management.
  • Advance relationships with business and customer leadership teams.
  • Assist in sales cycles and drive closure at the highest-level relationship within each Key Account.
  • Work closely with the service on-site team for complaints handling, expansion, and renewal.

Required Skills

  • BS/BA or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant Sales,or Key Accounting, or experience.
  • Autonomous, self-motivated, and experienced with Service organizations.
  • Solution-oriented with a structured and efficient working approach.
  • Organizational person, loyal, responsible, cost-conscious, and customer-oriented.
  • Friendly and cooperative attitude.

Business Knowledge

  • Familiarity with science-based companies' workflows.
  • Broad knowledge of the laboratory environment and its requirements.
  • Experience selling to medium and large-sized clients.
  • Commercial acumen and effective knowledge of products, services, and competitors.
  • Skills include complex sales in a multiple-product environment.

  • Strong communication and negotiating skills in consultative selling.
