Sales Manager – Remote in Central Germany

For our international client with Head Quarters in the UK we are currently looking for a

Sales Manager Germany (Home Office in Central Germany)

 

The Role of Sales Manager is to drive all areas of the sales process in Germany. It will be to work across multiple sectors supporting the company’s global sector strategy and delivering incremental growth in the EU market. The role will report to the UK Sales Leader but have dotted lines of responsibility to the Global Sector Directors supporting key accounts. The individual will have vast experience in the Specification Sales sector most notably across the Hospitality, Restaurant & Bar and Workplace environments.

 

Tasks:

  • Further develop the brand in the Germany Market, expanding existing relationships and generating new sales opportunities
  • Support the Global Sector Strategy with Germany Clients
  • Enhance the Project Sector of the Germany Market
  • Deliver key market intelligence and forecasting plans to the business
  • Deliver regular reporting as agreed to the Executive team
  • Put in place an Annual Business plan for your area of responsibility in line with your allocated targets
  • Work within the parameters of the business’ financial targets
  • Regular meetings with the UK Sales Leader to review current projects
  • Issue quotations within 48 hours of receipt
  • Follow up on proposals and quotations within 24 hours
  • Utilize our CRM to expand existing relationships and generate new sales opportunities
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Report on KPIs to the UK Sales Leader with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Deliver key market intelligence and forecasting plans to the business Key Skills

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Extensive sales experience delivering key financial targets
  • Professional relationship builder with a keen interest in meeting new people
  • Ability to operate multiple Key Accounts
  • Must be able to operate at all levels of seniority within any customer
  • The ability to work with autonomy, so self-motivated and able to work independently to meet/exceed goals
  • Charismatic personality with an ability to gauge client needs
  • Be able to manage financial budgets and operate within them
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written skills both face to face and virtually
  • Fluent in German& English. Italian language skills would be a plus.
