Sales Manager

For my international client I am currently looking for a SALES MANAGER to join their team in Germany.

 

Office location: Düsseldorf (the company offers remote work anywhere in Germany)

 

The company is operating in the digital advertising sector and is looking for candidates who bring in sales experience in this sector (or related sectors such as webradio, broadcast, digital advertising etc.) and who would love to support the grow of the company in Germany and the DACH region.

 

Role and Responsibility 

 

  • Advertising revenue generation through new business account gains. These include media agencies, direct clients/advertisersand programmatic demand side platforms.
  • Ongoing revenue generation from existing advertisers via implementation of key account growth strategies and customer engagement planning.
  • Key account management and ongoing customer service with the ultimate aim of creating loyal accounts for the company platform and increasing revenue.
  • Effectively managing a sales pipeline to ensure short, medium and longer term revenue growth.
  • Formulation of detailed and creative sales and account plans to meet the needs of an increasingly demanding Germany client base.
  • Work closely with internal company sales, account management and advertising operations teams to ensure smooth customer onboarding and pre / post sales processes are implemented accurately and efficiently.
  • Work creatively with internal company marcoms, operations and publisher teams to implement innovative and compelling bespoke advertising solutions where necessary.
  • Conduct regular sales and customer meetings to ensure generation of robust pipelines and educate key German buyers on the company product suite and digital audio market.
  • Accurate and regular revenue forecasting tracked and maintained within the company CRM systems.
  • Ownership of a Germany sales quota and the planning involved with achieving that.
  • Ownership of the sales story and supporting documents needed in order to achieve revenue goals. There is plenty of support from internal teams to implement what you need.
  • Scope to move quickly into sales and team leadership for the right employee.

 

Candidate requirements

 

  • Experience within digital media for a publisher, adtech provider or agency.
  • Candidate must be able to demonstrate solid working knowledge of programmatic and digital advertising both from a demand and supply side perspective.
  • New business mentality essential – the successful candidate will be highly motivated by sourcing, approaching and closing new and existing revenue opportunities from a diverse pool of potential customers.
  • Candidate will have demonstrable examples of selling and adapting solutions to meet customer needs. If from an agency background, the candidate must show examples of how they have grown existing client accounts and how they would approach a new business role.
  • Ideally, the candidate will come armed with a contact list of agency, programmatic and client direct media buyers.
  • Candidate must be fluent in both German and English.
  • Ideally located in Dusseldorf but we are open to other locations
