Key Account Manager

For our international client with offices in Düsseldorf we are currently looking for a

Key Account Manager (Düsseldorf)

 

In this position you will execute the day-to-day account management of several strategically important customers & new business development.

 

Tasks:

  • Increase sales revenue – a direct primary responsibility
  • Seek out and develop new business opportunities in line with the company strategy
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and report on performance vs commercial targets
  • Development of account plans – regular status and progress updates
  • Sales forecasts (financial and logistical)
  • The first point of contact as the interface between the customer and the company
  • Recognize and escalate any critical issues regarding the customer
  • Conduct all company activity in accordance and with respect for the rules and values of the company
  • At all times plan to exceed the customer’s expectations
  • Provide reports / de-brief for all customer meetings
  • Plan and have regular meetings with customers
  • Perform all other duties as required
  • Liaison with German and European Marketing Profile

 

Your Profile:

  • At least 3 years of prior experiences in the position
  • University Degree in Business studies / Economics or equivalent
  • An understanding of the DIY / Retail Market and its major players is essential
  • You have already worked within an international organization
  • Former experience in Retail Sales is required
  • You have commercial energy, are customer-oriented and can work independently and proactively
  • You are a team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Enthusiasm, determination & professionalism in dealing with prospects and clients in a proactive manner
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Driving license
  • German fluent/mother tongue and English fluent
