Approach People Recruitment is looking for a Junior Bilingual Accountant to join the finance team of a dynamic international company based in Brussels.

Job Overview
As a Junior Accountant for Benelux, you will play a key role in the finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute actively to the financial health and success of operations.
Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable/Receivable & Cash Management:
  • Manage invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations for accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process expense reports, air travel tickets, and various payments, including customer refunds.
  • Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Liaise with external agencies for VAT and tax reporting (Netherlands).
• Tax & Social Security Declarations:
  • Manage tax and social security declarations.

Qualifications and Skills

• 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Languages:
  • English: C1 (required).
  • Dutch: B2 minimum.
  • French is a plus.
• Personal Attributes:
  • Motivated, rigorous, and organized.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Location: Based in Brussels, with 1 day of travel to Amsterdam every 15 days (expenses covered).
• Remote Work: 2 days per week possible.
