Join a leading global connector technology company, renowned for their cutting-edge products used across the computer, telecommunications, instrumentation, consumer electronics, and automotive industries. They are currently seeking a full-time Inside Sales/Order Management Specialist to join their European team in Amsterdam. In this role, you will provide crucial support to one or more of their Business Development Managers (BDMs).
Main Responsibilities
- Provide efficient support to the external sales team and address customer enquiries, referring technical questions as needed
- Receive, process, and coordinate sales enquiries, ensuring timely responses and updating customer information in the SAP database
- Log and track customer enquiries and sales orders in SAP, coordinating with the Central Logistics Controller to meet customer needs
- Organize and dispatch samples and catalogues, and conduct follow-up calls to confirm receipt and satisfaction
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and distributors, and occasionally conduct proactive telephone sales campaigns
- Provide quotations using SAP, follow up with customers for feedback, and generate regular quotation tracking reports for the BDM
Required Skills/Competencies
- 3 years experience in back-office sales assistance
- Experience in order management tasks such as purchase orders, invoicing, and stock control
- Familiarity with SAP
- Fluent English
- Proactive and hands-on approach to assigned work objectives
- Proficiency in Excel and Word
