Commercial Development Manager

Our Client, a pharmaceutical wholesaler and leading partner to the healthcare sector and pharmaceutical industry, is currently looking for its new Business Development Manager, to support its growth in Belgium.

The role will ideally be based in Antwerp, with frequent traveling to be expected at a national level.

You will be responsible for identifying, analysing and securing sales growth across multiple product categories for the Pharma/Health Care Markets in Belgium, in a company that where you will be able to project yourself over the long run.

Among your activities :

  • Develop Strategy for business development and Increase sales by actively seeking new customers
  • Drive the commercial development of existing trading partners using highly effective account management
  • Support accurate business budgeting and forecasting and delivery of sales targets.
  • Product portfolio growth
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and legal requirements.

About your profile :

  • In depth knowledge of the EU pharmaceutical sector, including new customer development across all relevant channels , product portfolio development, hospital tendering ,contract law and pharmaceutical regulation
  • Experience of delivering pharmaceutical product business development, including new product launches into multiple markets, product license acquisitions, mergers, acquisitions and expansion from scratch of opening new geographic markets.
  • Self-starter, able to identify new business opportunities and deliver business growth. Effective and financially positive development of existing trading partners. Completer / finisher.
  • Proven ability to problem solve
  • Fluent English & Dutch
