Business Development Manager Germany
Our client, a family owned Cleaning Business is looking to majorly expand into the German market. Currently employing over 2500 People across 9 countries and operating since the 1960s the company is very established.
For Germany we are looking for someone to work from home, can be based anywhere.
Traveling to clients and other offices in Europe is a must.
We are looking for a real self-starter, someone independent with great people skills.
Experience we need:
o Proven business development experience in the German Cleaning, Hospitality or facilities industry
o Self starter, charismatic sales person who is passionate about their role and the industry
o Excellent people skills, with the ability to embrace the values and work across all levels within the company and across the industry
o Must be fully flexible in terms of time and travel.
o Must have fluent German
o Strong English both written and verbal
o A full clean driving licence
o Experienced presenter with the ability to engage and excite the room
Key Job Responsibilities
o Account manage some key accounts with the goal of growing the relationship
o Develop a new pipeline of business development opportunities
o Monitor tenders that are published and work with the pricing and Operations team to select the most appropriate for our business
o Developing bid presentations and supporting information
o Presenting at bid forums
o Attending and representing at trade forums
o Monitor market trends and update the business accordingly
o Working with our marketing team to build and publish relevant content that will enhance our market positioning
o Identify and select brand enhancing opportunities that align to our culture and market positioning
– Work closely with the pricing teams to ensure our current and future pricing is in line with market trends
– Work closely across all functions to develop the correct pricing for bids
o Work in conjunction with the wider sales team across Europe to close pan European contracts
o Manage the business development pipeline ensuring leads are categorised correctly and followed up appropriately
