Business Development Manager for Global Distribution – Hybrid – Germany (m/f/d)

The Company:

For growth purposes, our client, a leading company in connector technologies, is looking for a new business development manager. The human-size company has an international presence with offices in Asia, Europe and North America. Industries with whom our client works are primarily automotive, computers, telecommunications, and electronics.

Your Role:

You will work fulltime as a business development manager in Bavaria for global distribution accounts in the DACH Market.

Tasks:

  • Develop business with current specific distribution accounts and prospect for new accounts
  • Travel 50 % time, 50% remote work
  • Work with retailers and several departments (finance, quality, marketing)
  • Report to several departments
  • Develop sales strategy
  • Reach specific targets, numbers
  • Work on pricing
  • Negotiate contracts

About you:

  • English: professionally fluent
  • German: native or bilingual
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development
  • Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering/electronics/similar
  • Relevant experience with connectors and distribution
  • Good communication skills
  • Team player
  • Autonomous
