Tax Assistant
French + English

Massive Headquarters based in Rolle area (Switzerland)

My client is a global leader in the food industry.

Report to the European Tax Manager

Main responsibilities & tasks:

• Preparation of tax declarations for different European companies. Oversee recording process.
• Preparation of the VAT return, and ensuring timely and accurate tax declarations. Check the different Tax calculations.
• Intrastat declaration: Preparation of the Intrastat declaration, answer questions concerning Intrastat, support any necessary IT system changes
• VAT reconciliation: Checking and reconciliation of the declared VAT against booked VAT amounts, and resolution of differences

Your profile:

• Certificate / degree in accounting and / or taxation
• Min. 2 years working experience in accounting and / or indirect tax
• Strong ERP and MS Office software knowledge.
• Accurate and strong affinity with figures, Analytically oriented
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience working for a multi-national and within a matrix structured organization
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with success at interacting with all levels of the organization, external stakeholders and local tax authorities.
• English and French proficiency required. Another European language a plus
