Associate Program Manager - Medical Devices

Our client is a global developer and worldwide marketer of consumer brand-name health & home, housewares and beauty products.
Our client offers creative solutions for their customers with a strong portfolio of famous and trusted brands on three different products ranges : Health & Home, Houseware and Beauty.
In order to reinforce their Project Management team within the Health & Home products department, our client is seeking for a :

Associate Program Manager - Medical Devices

Position :

Reporting to the Project Manager EMEA, you will be in charge of the support and new products development in the EMEA region.

On a daily-basis :
- You will have a crucial role in planning, scheduling and managing New Products Development (NPD) in close collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders ;
- Thanks to Helen of Troy Home & Health New Product Development process, you’ll drive efficiently projects progress and manage risks ;
- You will work closely with global cross-functional teams in Europe, USA and China, included effective communication on projects progress, risks, schedule, costs, quality and performance ;
- You will be responsible for technical feasibility assessment, projects budget and supplier management, from the project’s beginning to products launch in various European markets, US markets, and more… ;
- Thanks to your knowledge in Agile documentation control, you will create and manage product documentation and specification and make sure they are available to support timely execution ;
- As needed, you will provide guidelines for technical solutions and alternatives and conduct design reviews and FMEA’s (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) ;
- Finally, you will create projects files and appropriate documentation based on established regulatory (Design History File) and quality systems.

Qualifications :

- At least 5 years’ experience in Project Management on consumer goods, medical or any similar regulated industry
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Life Science
- Understanding of EMEA safety requirements and medical device regulatory submission in Europe (MDD/MDR) and USA (FDA) is a strong asset.
- Strong documentation understanding and building Design History Files (DHF).
- Good technical knowledge of electronics, firmware and software as used in consumer products
- English fluent, any additional European language would be an asset
