Approach People Recruitment wins Best Irish Company in France title

Recruitment consultancy Approach People Recruitment has won the Best Irish Company in France award, which is organised by the France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and NetworkIrelande.

The company was established in Dublin in 2000 when two young French entrepreneurs, John Murat and Laurent Girard-Claudon, decided to set a benchmark in the recruitment of French candidates in Ireland.

They started out by offering its services to multinational companies in Ireland and then replicated this in France, forming partnerships with major French clients.

Nowadays Approach People has a database of over 300,000 skilled multilingual candidates and operates in most Western European countries via its offices in Paris, Lyon, Dublin, Barcelona, Madrid and Geneva.

It employs 70 people overall and is planning to increase this to 80 in 2015.

An Taoiseach Enda Kenny presented the award to Murat and Girard-Claudon at an award ceremony in the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin on 27 November.
