Supervisor

My client is looking for a Supervisor to proactively manage consumer claims as well as supporting their manager and their team with administrative and some people management tasks.

You will be dealing with inbound and outbound calls and you will be required to regularly update the consumers on the claims that you will handle. You will be required to register new policies received by the team from retailers and confidently manage any mid term adjustments and referrals. In addition you will deal with manufacturers and retailers and also offer support to other departments within the company. You will be required to work to set objectives. You may also have some basic people responsibilities such as conducting 121’s with the team. Knowledge of either Dutch or Spanish would be advantageous but not essential.



Your role will involve:

Maintain claims allocated to you within the set SLA’s
Make formal assessments on claims to decide if they are covered under the policy terms and conditions
Make cost effective decisions on all claims handled
Raise Purchase Orders
Update consumers on all actions taken
Liaise with manufacturers and retailers
Update weekly reports to track where you are against SLA
Support telephone lines as required as well as ensuring that the telephone service levels are met
Emails to be responded to within set SLA
Handle all complaints confidently and in the correct manner as set by the underwriters
Conduct audits at the direction of the claims manager
Conduct 121’s with up to three junior staff and work with the manager to improve performance as required


You are the right person for the job if:

Good office organisational and administrative skills
Excellent communication and inter personal skills
Good customer service skills
Able to work on own initiative and ability to prioritise differing workloads
Confident in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Confident when dealing with disciplinaries and grievances
