Sales Manager - DACH

Our client, a European leader in recruitment of young graduates, is looking for a Sales Manager - DACH to join their team. This role will be based in Köln.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will grow a team of 2+ business developers and run the business development across the DACH region, including Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Define and execute the sales strategy
Conduct extensive market research and establish a list of target companies
Prospect and generate leads with companies throughout the DACH market
Grow and maintain effective business relationships with large clients
Set up meetings with clients and visit them
Generate new revenue from new and existing clients and increase sales in the DACH region
Interact with the Key Account Management team to bring strategic support to large deals
Lead and manage a sales team of 2+ Business Developers to maximise sales
Ensure processes are embedded and KPIs delivered
Review and report to headquarter in Paris on new business pipeline and sales achievement

Profile

Minimum 5 years business development experience selling SaaS solutions
Successful experience in sales team management
Key networker and able to identify new sales leads through a variety of media such as networking, professional events
Ability to inspire trust in order to coach and develop your team
Strong relationship builder with ability to establish connections at all levels within organisations
Strong communication skills and able to explain value propositions to key decision-makers
High-energy, positive, proactive
Native level of German, fluency in English to a high standard - written & spoken
BA/BS degree in a related field

It is a permanent position based in Köln.
