SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / TEAM LEADER

They are currently looking for a :


SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER / TEAM LEADER (French + English fluent)
Permanent contract based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You will report directly to the Finance Director. You will Manage and lead the Finance team (2 persons), including development, education, coaching, training, yearly appraisals and follow-up, with continuous focus on improving work processes.
• Prepare standalone monthly closings as well as intragroup reconciliations.
• Conduct quarterly limited review with external auditors.
• Establish IFRS Reporting package to the attention of corporate consolidation team.
• Lead financial year-end closing and other related activities.
• Maintain internal control system in conducting internal audit engagements.
• Assess and document internal risk management system as per statutory requirements.
• Participate in budget establishment and other project-related monitoring activities.
• Support local management in various analysis providing accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Participate in any external compliance required audit (VAT, tax, etc.).
• Ensure backup within Finance team with establishment of various periodical financial reports.
• Perform other relevant responsibilities as required.


YOUR PROFILE :

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from a university or business management school
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in relevant field (e.g. auditing, business planning, etc.) within an international company
• Fluency in English and French, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated experience with accounting, internal control and other compliance norms
• Familiar with Swiss legislation in general and company law in particular
• Prior experience on well-known ERP
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to influence
• individuals and teams
• Ability to work with flexibility in a changing and demanding local and international environment / Matrix organization
• Previous people management experience is a strong asset
• Demonstrated success with problem analysis/solving, anticipation and proactivity
• Strong sense of discipline and initiative, exceptional planning and organization skills and a hands-on
approach to work
