SALES EXECUTIVE - JOB POSITION - BASED IN MADRID

Commercial Solutions within Applied Intelligence is a profitable, expanding business built through a strong portfolio of differentiated services, solutions and software and hardware products leveraging a core relationship with Governments, Financial Institutions and CNI organisations. Our client is recruiting a sales team with a proven track record and expertise in order to further expand its business in this market sector following an indirect GTM model.
The Commercial Solutions Division has a strong and differentiated portfolio of offerings, Compliance & AML, Fraud, Cyber Security and Cloud Security. We are developing strong business in UK, Continental Europe, Middle East and Africa.

About the role
The Sales Executive will be part of the Commercial Solutions EMEA Sales team, focusing on Compliance (AML) and Fraud solutions. They will be focused on managing existing accounts as well as selling the full range of Compliance and Fraud solutions to new name accounts.

The sales process will include building on existing engagements to develop additional business opportunities as well as originating, leading and closing deals to accelerate growth within Compliance and Fraud. The role will be focused on selling high-end solutions which will be secured through a client-oriented solution selling approach.

Target customers include all the significant Financial Institutions primarily in Spain and Portugal. The primary focus is on managing existing accounts and increasing the range and volume of services and solutions offered to existing customers.

What you will be doing

You will have end to end responsibility for leading opportunities through the deal cycle, and help develop strategies to drive Compliance and Fraud sales regularly reporting on progress. The Sales Executive will be clearly accountable for certain client relationships; typically working from senior decision maker level to technical level and ensuring the Company remains well positioned in the Compliance and Fraud area. You will also interact and collaborate within the Commercial Solutions Division to help create the optimum team and customer solution. Assured leadership will be required, both direct and through influence.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate will be a self-starting individual with the ability to drive growth in the Compliance and Fraud arena.
Essential:
• Experience of selling in the banking and/or insurance sectors.
• Experience of selling software, products and managed services.
• Proven track record of winning or delivering profitable, sustainable deals.
• Understanding of the pipeline management process.
• Demonstrable track record of securing, building and maintaining executive sponsorship.
• Disciplined sales execution with reliable sales forecasting.
• Experience of shaping client requirements and providing business cases.
• Experience in leading and motivating teams.
• Record of collaboration with delivery teams to shape, sell and maintain deals.
• Track record of building and sustaining client relationships.
• Keen awareness of the value levers within their sector.
• Experience of working in a growing and changing environment.
• Flexible and adaptable.
