Key Account Manager - DACH

Our client, a European leader in recruitment of young graduates, is looking for a Key Account Manager - DACH to join their team. This role will be based in Köln.

The Role and what will your day look like

You’ll be part of the Universities Team and your role, as the first Key Account Manager for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, will be to equip and support universities with the SaaS solution of our client, which is an innovative platform that guides students and graduates in their professional career development.

As the primary point of contact, you will:
Partner with universities, business and engineering schools across the DACH region, and help them make their Career Centers a success in terms of traffic, student and graduate engagement and customer satisfaction
Implement the platform
Foster and manage strong, strategic and long-term relationships with priority partners to maximise current revenue streams
Run training workshops to internal and project teams, and share the best practices
Build and implement communication plans to drive awareness
Ensure and monitor partner satisfaction, retention, operational efficiency and service quality
Present and implement new releases of the platform

Essential Skills & Experience

Demonstrable 1-3 year experience in a similar partnership management role in an advertising and tech environment
As this is a relationship building role, we are looking for a hands-on, self-driven and customer-oriented client handler and communicator
Clear understanding of the role of partnering for brands
Strong people and communication skills with an ability to work with a variety of personalities
Passionate about being able to advise clients on a host of options to achieve results
Creative problem-solving skills
Passion for understanding user needs as well as deep interest in web services, disruptive technologies and project management
Native level of German, fluency in English to a high standard - written & spoken


It is a permanent position based in Munich.
