Area Sales Manager Luxury (German fluent)

Client

Our client is a well-known and very prestigious luxury company based in Switzerland.
They are seeking for an Area Sales Manager Luxury (German fluent).


Accountabilities

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for developing the company’s Hotel Line Collection to top luxury Hotel groups or independent hotels in Germany, Austria, Switzerland german-part and Greece in a sustainable way.
With a strong business developer mindset, the Area Sales Manager will be in charge of managing, leading and developing Commercial and Marketing strategies and the brand image in the area.

• Achieve the established revenue targets
• Make sure that strategies are consistent with those centrally defined
• Control the partners’ activities and trend of sales, particularly of relevant distributors; monitoring sales and stock levels, collecting forecast, sales reports
• Manages relationships with Key customer accounts/Regional Groups, regularly engaging with all customer stakeholders involved in the amenities purchasing decision process.
• Participates on project teams, communicates cross-functionally with internal departments, and performs other duties as assigned
• Perform presentations in the area/market of reference


Profile

• Degree in Business studies, Hospitality, Economics or equivalent education
• At least 2 years’ experience in sales activities, preferably with a luxury brand
• Fluent in German and English
• Direct or indirect knowledge of sales in a perfume environment
• A first international exposure is highly appreciated
• Flexibility & mobility for up to 50% business travel, mainly in focus territories

The position is a permanent role and based in Bern area.
