JOB DESCRIPTION – Account Manager

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
● To develop short, medium and long term sales plans to help the organisation achieve its revenue and gross profit targets
● To manage existing accounts and grow new customers based on segment rather than by brand
● Make first class presentation with key customers and in public
● Ensure excellent communication and follow up with our potential customer and existing customers
● To enhance sales practices, market segments and partnership models to establish long term sustainable revenue streams
● To work closely with the Marketing department to improve the effectiveness of on and offline marketing to maximise sales opportunities
● Work with marketing to identify gaps/trends in the market to strengthen our competitive position
● To engage with key stakeholders across the business
● To work with the German sales team to improve performance and streamline operational processes to allow the focus to be on value add activities
● To regularly provide data/MI to support with trend analysis and reporting
● Work with the GM to provide timely, accurate and prompt sales forecasts
● Work with the GM to establish sales goals to support business segment revenue goals while developing, aligning and implementing territory assignment and sales plans
● Help develop and implement best practices in sales policies and procedures in order to increase effectiveness and productivity
● Participation in management decision-making processes concerning sales issues and procedures
● Live and demonstrate our values at all time: Passion, Innovation, Ownership, and Integrity.
● Strong focus and understanding of Sales activities in general - including but not limited to sales planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimisation and sales compensation planning
● Highly consultative solution sales approach
● Strong working knowledge of CRM systems, especially SalesForce, including experience of all aspects of the sales cycle and workflow generation
● Experience working with and supporting sales teams, as well as the ability to present to executive management
● Experience of selling technology products/services and selling via partners/affiliates/resellers
● Strong stakeholder management skills
● Solid influencing and negotiation skills
● The ability to think strategically and act pragmatically at all times
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
● Results driven and target focussed
● Able to confidently converse in English
● Excellent commercial acumen
