My client is a leading bank with their insurance division in Dublin. Currently looking for a recently Qualified Accountant to join them.

Currently around 120 people in their Dublin office. The office has a great open feel to it. Bright and very social. My client very much values work-life balance and offers initiates to help maintain health and wellbeing. On offer is a competitive salary, benefits and a clear career path.

You should be in Ireland already and have qualified in Ireland. 2-3 years of financial experience absolutely necessary.

Key responsibilities include:
-Support the preparation and reporting of all financial reporting
-Support the preparation and review of the monthly management accounts
-Quarterly Forecasting and Budgeting
-Quarterly/Annual regulatory reporting
-Quarterly/Annual regulatory CSO returns
-Monthly reporting to the CFO and CEO (Cash flows, KPI’s, Expense reviews, -Actuals versus budget, P&L by Territory)
-Review and preparation of reconciliations and control accounts
-Internal Fund pricing preparation and review
-Fiscal reporting to the local tax authorities in the jurisdiction we operate in
-Support the development of trainee accounts
-Integration of IT systems as part of an on-going efficiency enhancements
-Driving the finance agenda in project teams/work groups
-AD hoc duties as and when required Taking ownership of project work and deliverables
-Taking ownership of project work and deliverables
-Integrating new processes and continuous improvement of existing processes

Knowledge and Experience:
-Recently qualified accountant
-2-3 years’ experience Financial Services
-Proven ability to adapt to workloads and requirements of a finance function
-Solvency II experience would be an advantage
-Technically minded
-Possess a strong work ethic
-Be a problem solver and ideally have knowledge of the regulatory requirements in the industry that may impact on the business
-Be able to work under pressure and produce quality output to strict deadlines
-Have the acumen to work independently and be able to appraise and provide quality assurance on their own output, and that of others.
