Finnish Technical Support Associate

Our client is looking for technically minded professionals, fluent in English and Finnish, who have a positive mind-set, a friendly attitude and enjoy making customers smile. You will be joining a dynamic customer support team for users, sellers, distributors and service technicians of robotically controlled vacuum cleaners.

You will be dealing with Finnish speaking customers in their respective language, both verbally and in writing. The role encompasses support to customers via telephone and email regarding troubleshooting mechanical, electronic and IT issues of the robots, guiding customers through making use of all their advanced technological features as well as helping out with financial and legal matters related to the purchase of the devices.

Examples of technical aspects covered:

 Sensor technology: laser-, infrared-, touch- and magnetic sensors as well as their corresponding transducers.
 Electric motors: stepper motors, brushed and brushless dc motors and their coupling to mechanical parts such as wheels, brushes and rotating sensors.
 Power supply: Ni-MH batteries, and their electronically regulated charging, Li-Ion batteries and charge bases.
 Electronics and IT: LCD; LEDs; automatic mapping and navigation of surroundings; RPS and wireless control and monitoring with Smartphones, iPhones, tablets and iPads via Wi-Fi; WEP, WPA, WPA2; routers, access points and communication to servers.

Examples of business and legal issues covered:

 Advise customers regarding purchase of robots and accessories; warranty, payment methods and refunds
 Forwarding and evaluating quotations from reviewers regarding damages
 Explaining to retailers, suppliers and customers the proper channels of delivery of units and transaction of payments.
 Occasional translation as well as adaptation of texts and documents. Involving general, legal, commercial and technological vocabulary.

Working hours are from Monday to Friday 8 am to 4.30 pm and salary is €23.5K per year.
