Compliance Executive

My client is a Financial Institution providing Financial protection for its clients. They are based in Dublin, Ireland, and are now looking for an experienced Compliance Executive fluent in English.

You will be in charge of:

Contributes to the definition, facilitation and maintenance of the risk management and monitoring system of non-compliance risks
Contributes to the prevention and monitoring of non-compliance risks through an analysis of transactions and of customer files, and, as necessary, through alert management
Contributes to the dissemination of the culture of compliance
Performs verification duties in accordance with the established control plan, in line with the risk mapping and existing regulatory documents currently in force.
Assesses the efficiency of the system based on the production and use of control indicators, and ensures, where necessary, that corrective actions are implemented
Contributes to the drafting of Compliance regulatory reporting and update and review compliance related training material as required
Performs a regulatory watch on best practices in terms of compliance controls
Review and update compliance policies and procedures and assist with the performance of gap analysis of compliance procedures and systems.
Management of the approval process for new products and partners and coordination in relation to relevant internal committees.
Review and coordination in relation to product oversight and governance (POG) and related internal governance committees.
Researching and reviewing international consumer protection and general good requirements.
Support the implementation of internal controls and internal audit recommendations.
Assist with the preparation of the annual compliance plan and framework.
Coordination of planning and coordination in relation to the Central Bank of Ireland and PRISM engagement process to include targeted risk assessments.
Assist with obligations and reporting to the Credit Agricole group as required.
Working with the Data Protection Officer and team in relation to controls, processes and reporting.

Your Profile:

Experience: 3 years’ experience in compliance. Educated to degree level and/ or professional qualification. Background in insurance, legal and/ or compliance are necessary
Skills & Competencies: methodical, proficient in the use of Word/Excel/Powerpoint.
Experience and knowledge of regulatory and commercial aspects of insurance contracts, terms and conditions and consumer protection issues.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise compliance tasks efficiently are essential for the role.
Ability to work in and experience of a multi-cultural and cross-border context is and an advantage.
Studying for or qualified Association of Compliance Officers Ireland (ACOI).
