Onboarding Specialist

Join a very cool and successful UK start-up that have just recently opened their Berlin office.

You will have a permanent full-time, German contract.

I am looking for an On-boarding and Compliance Specialist to be one of the first members of the new German team, you will have a real impact on shaping the German operations.

Here is what you will do:
Ensure a great candidate on-boarding experience:
• You’ll be responsible for the candidate on-boarding process, ensuring that candidates get a great first impression of the company
• You’ll be setting up and managing the team of Ambassadors ensuring that they are trained on how to on-board new candidates
• You’ll be building close relationships with the first candidates on the platform to prevent churn while we are ramping up operations

Ensure high quality of candidates:
• With support from the UK-based candidate operations team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring candidate quality and skillset is aligned with employer expectations
• You’ll be liaising with the UK-based candidate operations team to ensure that the online German candidate assessments are tailored to the German market requirements


Who are you? You should have 3-4 years experience in the below and speak fluent German
You’re a relationship builder: You are a people-person with impressive vocal and written communication skills. You build rapport naturally and are highly empathic and friendly in the way you manage candidate relationships.
You’re a multi-tasker: You are able to handle multiple projects and work-streams at once, and prioritise effectively how your time is best spent to improve the candidate on-boarding process
You see the bigger picture: You love getting to know the nitty gritty details of on-boarding and candidate compliance processes and you act fast to drive resolution on issues and obstacles, but you can also take a step back and reflect on whether the processes we implement and the decisions we take is the right way forward to build the best part-time job.

You know the ins and outs of the German legal framework: You’re interested in legal frameworks and regulations. You have an understanding of German employment regulations and social security requirements around fixed-term, part-time and mini-jobber employment
