Our client offers you the opportunity to be part of our global accounting team acting as dedicated team member and provide accounting services for our European locations ensuring that the companies finances are maintained in an effective up to date and accurate manner.

Your role will involve:

• Collaboration in accounting activities for small entity and liaises with external advisors to ensure compliance with local regulations;
• Ensuring of timely and accurate preparation and processing of journal entries (with appropriate supporting documentation) for various month end tasks and accounting transactions such as accruals, bank transactions, Fixed Assets etc..
• Preparation of monthly account reconciliations;
• Being responsible for compliance with internal policies and external regulations (SOX, US GAAP) and assists in documentation and monitoring of internal controls for areas of responsibility;
• Playing an active role in improving existing processes through process change or automation;
• Development and maintenance of effective relationships with internal and external customers;
• Assistance in other finance functions as needed and cross trains in other functions to provide support for others on the Finance team

In return you will bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• 3 years of experience in fast paced general accounting department and/or in external audit
• High level of English
• Strong Excel skills
• Knowledge of IFRS and SOX is a plus
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP is highly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Time management skills
